Scope of 5G Technology in India

Huawei and Bharti Airtel have conducted the first 5G network trial in India successfully under setup for test at Airtel’s centre for experience in Gurgaon (2018). Airtel was successful to achieve more than 3GBPS. Bharti Airtel also signed a MOU (memorandum of understanding) with Ericsson and Nokia to support its preparations for 5G launch

BSNL has also signed an MOU in partnership with Ciena to launch field trials with a goal to launch 5G Technology in India.

Vodafone-Idea has also started 5G trials in collaboration with vendors like Ericsson and Huawei.
